Here's a cool one--a blanket ID'd to the 10th New York from exactly the time being portrayed at PETERSBURG.

This blanket was carried by a member of Company E, one of the recently recruited companies, and was possibly provided to him by the state of New York upon his enlistment that April. Made by Family Heirloom Weavers directly from the original owned by Wayne Hutzell, this relatively lightweight wool and cotton blanket, coming in at just under 3.5 pounds, is a great piece for summer campaigning or as a second blanket to use for events in cooler weather.

And as an added bonus, Mr. Hutzell has donated the proceeds from the sale of these blankets to the LR’s battlefield preservation fundraising efforts.
