The reins for artillery horses included a unique offset adjustment buckle for driver comfort and convenience, as well as buckles to attach to the bit. These reins will include the proper early cast brass roller buckles. In an effort to improve our artillery impression overall, and replace broken pieces, Merrick’s Custom Leather will be reproducing these and other individual pieces of harness.
