The Belly Band and two additional Trace Loops attached to billets on both the Driver's Saddle and Valise Saddle.  Secured loosely beneath the horse with the traces running through the Trace Loops, the Belly Band kept the traces from slipping over the back of the horse.  In an effort to improve our artillery impression overall, and replace broken pieces, Merrick’s Custom Leather will be reproducing these and other individual pieces of harness.  This listing is for one Belly Band complete with two Trace Loops with integral squares, all made with our custom reproduction enameled cast roller buckles, ready to buckle to your saddle.
