These turned hardwood mallets match the Army's specifications exactly.  While not intended to set paper fuzes as the name might suggest, these mallets could be used to set Bormann fuzes in conjunction with the Gouge, or to clear a vent in conjunction with the Vent Punch.  One of these was REQUIRED for each limber chest.
