For whatever reason, the Trace Loops on many sets of reproduction artillery harness have been made undersized.  While they'll fit the 1861 leather U.S. traces, they are nonetheless incorrect and will not fit the earlier rope traces we often use for Confederate impressions.  Additionally, they are rarely made with the proper enameled cast iron roller buckles, which we have had custom made to match the Ordnance Manual specs and original hardware seen on original harness. 
 
This listing is for a set of two Trace Loops that you can buckle right on to your existing Loin Straps.
 
If you need to replace the undersized Trace Loops that buckle to the billets on the saddle, those are made with squares stitched into them and are integral to the Belly Band which is listed separately.
